Celebrate Insect Week and feel the love for bugs at this month’s Nature Club! Grab a sweep net and go on a hunt to discover some of the tiniest creatures in the woodland. We’ll identify a variety of amazing minibeasts found in different habitats, under logs, on plants and in the soil – and build insect homes in cosy spots where they might live. Get up close with a magnifying glass and create a Bug Passport to take home, as invertebrates vs insects slug it out to see who’s your favourite crawly!

Insect Week is 19 to 25 June 2023, organised by the Royal Entomological Society, and supported by partner organisations throughout the UK and Europe. It’s an opportunity to take part in insect science, get to know insects, learn from experts, and have fun.
