Insect Week at National Museum Cardiff

Tuesday-Wednesday 23-24^th and Friday-Sunday 26-28^th of June 2026, 10:00 to 16:00

Celebrate insects and Insect Week at National Museum Cardiff.

Find interactive stands in the main hall of the museum, look at insect specimens up close and chat to museum scientists and researchers about all things insects!

Families are welcome.

You can also take part in two bioblitz events run by Cardiff University, both are just 10 mins walk from the museum:

• Insect Week Bioblitz. 12:30 – 15:30 on Thursday the 25^th of June. Training at the Glamorgan Building, CF10 3WT and Bioblitz at the Redwood building, CF10 3NB. Sign up here.
