Who are Insecta Collective CIC?
We are a Leicester based community interest company aiming to immerse the people of Leicester and Leicestershire in the wonders of the natural world using the medium of arts engagement. We want to empower those that feel powerless given the complexity and enormity of climate change. We help communities take small, climate friendly actions by delivering fun, family friendly workshops and engagement through visual art and craft, music and creative writing. Our work aims to foster emotional connections with nature to promote social and environmental change at a local level.
