Family Wildlife Day

A day packed with wildlife encounters, the Stillingfleet Lodge Garden Family Wildlife Day brings together a range of local experts to celebrate the vast array of wildlife we have in Yorkshire.

Central to this is learning about insects and how important they are in a wildlife garden. Learn about butterflies, bees, dragonflies and join in a bug hunt and see what lurks beneath the water of our wildlife pond.

Meet the birds who rely on insects to survive and learn more about the life of bats and how they hunt for moths and other insects.

This is a day packed full of child-friendly activities and information stands. Advance family tickets are available now, otherwise just turn up on the day and pay at the entrance hut.
