A naturalist led walk around the 14 acre Frenze Beck Nature Reserve in Diss, South Norfolk.
Meeting at 1.30pm in the car park, Jono Forgham will lead a walk to discover how many butterfly species can be found and perhaps carefully netted for closer inspection.
Whilst searching for butterflies we can also check flowerheads for feeding beetles, bees, wasps and hoverflies as well as check for any damselflies and dragonflies that have emerged from the Beck. Nets will be provided but do bring along a few containers to keep anything of interest in for a while. Also, a magnifying glass could be handy.
The walk will last 2 hours and is on good, flat footpaths and grassland so fine for those with limited ability.
