Bug Hunt at Rothamsted Research

Join us for a fun and educational bug hunt, in honour of Insect Week, taking place at Rothamsted Research Harpenden site on Wednesday, June 21st from 5-7pm.

Meeting at our free visitors car park at 5pm, we'll head out on a guided walk through the grounds of the Rothamsted estate. Along the way, we'll use nets and beating sticks to collect insects. After the hunt, head over to the pavillion where we'll identify our finds with the help of microscopes and entomologists from Rothamsted Research.

There will also be fascinating demonstrations and posters talks from our scientists.

This event is free and open to all ages. Please wear sensible shoes (no sandals) and long trousers.
