Essay Competition – “The Wonders of Insects”

The Department of Life Sciences, Dibrugarh University is organizing an Essay Competition titled “The Wonders of Insects”, under the outreach initiative supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

The competition aims to spark scientific curiosity among students by encouraging them to explore the diversity, ecological roles, and significance of insects in ecosystems and human life. Through creative writing, participants will reflect on the often-overlooked beauty and importance of insects in nature.

Eligibility:

Group I: School students (Class 8–12)

Group II: Undergraduate students
