Ant Walk at the Autonomous University of Madrid

The campus of the Autonomous University of Madrid is home to more than 20 species of ants. Come spend the evening with us learning all about these tiny insects.

The activity will consist on a brief introduction to myrmecology followed by a slow-paced walk around the university campus. You will learn the basics of ant identification in the field, being able to recognise the most common ant species. If the timing is right, we will also spot nuptial flights.
